Testing the 2012 Porsche Carrera 911

Watch as Porsche engineers rigorously test the all-new 2012 Carrera 911 in South Africa and the Arctic Circle. Our engineers took the car on the most demanding road trips imaginable while in the most punishing of climates. They pushed the test vehicles to operating extreme months before the cars global debut. Why? To guarantee that the seventh-generation 2012 Carrera 911 will perform to Porsche Standards on the German Autobahn, interstate highway in the US and anywhere else a car’s owner might be.

very cool, and good work
it looks exactly the same as tho old one.
The location in the arctic isn’t “secret” its Yellowknife NWT, Canada, I used to live there,the mine in the picture is Giant Mine, an abandon old gold mine. they test all kinds of cars there on the Ingraham trail, Porche, and BMW can be seen there every winter…
@AntonSlizzardhands Did you view the entire film? I found it fascinating! I also look VERY much forward to owning my first 911 Turbo!
BEFORE I DIE I WILL OWN A 911
Exciting car. Boring film.
look up speed racen
@plague1313 same goes to me…
@marcosbressan Dident you notice they were driving on gravel roads? isent it possible to imagine that gravel roads also has some holes and cracks? But why should they actually do it? this is a sports car not a pickup truck…
u wanna test your new car for failures?
give it to me for a week
Nothing special about that. All auto makers do that. This is just another way for Porche to advertise their “special” car. In a near future, cars will be so complicated that you will need an engineer to fix them.
