Aston Martin DB5 – 2

Not something that I expected to see parked outside our favorite cafe in Thredbo (Gourmet 42). A stylish and classic automobile made famous through an association with the James Bond character.

Thredbo, New South Wales, Australia.
Photograph taken with an iPhone 4 using the HDR option. Rotation, cropping, overall lighting, selective lighting, lighting effect, and tilt-shift effect applied using Snapseed. Digital camera speckle noise attenuation applied using PaintShop Pro X4.

Nice find! Great that you explored different angles. Blur vignette helps here – like it!
Hello [http://www.flickr.com/photos/paulmarshphotography] . Thanks for your considered and insightful comment. You have a great mix (with many gorgeous iPhoneography shots) on your Flickr Photostream!
Yeah! Vintage cars are always beautiful to me! Thanks for sharing!

Nice. I remember back in the 60′s (last century) the Canberra Police had one as a pursuit car to catch the speeding snow bound skiers heading to, maybe Thredbo. These old cars had character. Nice shot too.
Hi there [http://www.flickr.com/photos/regau] . Thanks for that little piece of history. I had absolutely no idea that the police could ever have gotten a DB5 through as a capital expenditure item! I bet there was a long queue to take the driver’s seat for that car!
Classic and beautiful car. Great photo.
